Pluto in Sagittarius till Nov 2008
Pluto in Capricorn Dec 2008 till Mar 2023
We made some very bold predictions between 1986 and 1990 and condensed them in an 11x17 page called “World Events till 2001”. I intend to do the same for the next 25 years or so and will use the same methodology as before. We will give you short glimpses of the future and then combine them all in another 11x17 page. As you know, many of our predictions came true, proving that astrology makes it very easy to see the world events once you understand the basic themes.
This is at least a five part article and we will focus on each slow moving planet at a time. We will discuss future world events in terms of planetary transits reflected by the transit in the sky of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter. These slow moving planets accurately seem to reflect the trends of the coming years.
When they say history repeats itself, what they really mean is the themes associated with Pluto repeat themselves every 246 years, Neptune every 150 years, Uranus every 84 years, Saturn every 29 years and Jupiter every 12 years!
For example, we had predicted a major Peace Treaty around 1992-1993 when Jupiter was in Libra (camp David). Jupiter is again moving into the sign of Libra between Sep. 2004 till Oct. 2005 and I am sure that another major Peace Treaty will be signed during this period. With Pluto being in the sign of Sagittarius, it will involve Israel and Palestine and will establish the final status of Jerusalem. In fact, this will probably be one of the best chances for long-term peace in the Middle East.
Here is the first instalment and some of the main themes represented by Pluto:
Pluto in Sagittarius till Nov. 2008: It is important to realize that
although many discoveries are during a phase, it may take many more
years till it is actually put into practice. For example, Pluto in
Sagittarius will coincide with some of the best discoveries in
education, psychology, space and transportation, but they may actually
be commercialized when Pluto moves into Capricorn from Dec. 2008
onwards (more on this later).
As we have mentioned before, what started as a revolution in communication (the Internet), is leading to global radio and television. Advances in space travel, land transport, astronomy and education have already started to pave the way for mass education, greater knowledge of our solar system and how it evolved, revolutionary systems of space travel and new means of education. As soon as broadband and streaming video becomes hundreds of times faster, the last parts of my predictions will start unfolding i.e. simultaneous translation on the Internet, voice recognition perfected, (as a bonus, instead of our personalized written reports, you may receive a personalized tape in my voice accurate reproduced from the computer, while I am somewhere in the Bahamas sipping virgin Pina Colada writing my articles!).
New Discoveries in Education: New techniques to improve memory and advances in cognitive psychology will revolutionize education. New methods of memory retention by the computers will be discovered. At present, the computer only saves digital data in binary format. It will start emulating our brain (always in a very primitive form) and storing data such as fragrance, taste, ambiance, etc. We recall events using analog data (most of our sensory perception is analog, hearing, smell, sight, taste even though it is all processed in the brain using approximate binary means (neurons basically communicate using the potential difference between sodium and potassium, almost similar to the computer i.e. binary code).
We may get some major breakthrough in how dolphins communicate and may even learn to simulate their signals to some extent.
New teaching methods will incorporate more of our senses increasing comprehension and improving retention for longterm memory. At least experiments will be done to connect different parts of the brain with micro chips to input selective data directly. Workings of the mind (mapping of the limbic and neurocortal areas) will advance to a new level.
At present, scientists cannot even separate even the most obvious emotions which any child can see. They just know it is all in the limbic area. This will lead to major advances in psychology, understanding of the origin of emotions, which will of course be first exploited by the advertising media and the porno industry who will design ads and situations targeting specific sites in the brain! More subtle advertising appealing directly to your emotional perceptions will easily bypass your conscious reasoning and may even stimulate the economy in new ways than we can imagine!
Marketing, advertising, education and mass communication will all be revolutionized by the discoveries of the brain. We have done mapping at a chemical level but human consciousness is way beyond just the chemical processes. This is where the meaning of the soul comes in and our experiences and inspirational moments in life. The same chemicals will be found to produce thousands of different emotions (similar to astrological themes!).
Astronomy and Space Exploration: By Nov 2008, we will also learn much more about our universe, the structure of the stars, our origins, and some fundamental perceptions re-evaluated. We will probably come to the conclusion that the age of the universe and how long will it last etc. can never be evaluated!
Religion Re-Evaluated, Pharaohs Revisited: History will be revisited and stories in religious books authenticated, some confirmed and some shown to be total myths and fabrication. Most research in the authenticity of these religious stories will be done before Nov. 2008 while Pluto is still in Sagittarius.
Some religious books may be rewritten and new curriculum introduced to take new findings into consideration. While the existence of the Queen of Sheba will be confirmed, the authenticity of the “kingdom” founded by David and later ruled by Solomon will be put into question and may even be discredited, creating a major overhaul of archaeological historical “facts”. The origins of Moses (mosis in Egypt for “rightful child or heir”, the similarities between Moses and Pharaoh Akenaten, the connection between the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep III and Solomon, and even the exodus to fertile Hijaz (not Palestine) will be uncovered.
With Pluto in Sagittarius, there is already an underlying cooperation between many religious groups including Christians, Jews and Muslims underway. This will help authenticate and uncover many similarities in religions (remember the prayers from all denominations at the Yankee Stadium arranged by Oprah after the 911 tragedy was one of the signs of eventual peace by Nov. 2008 that we had mentioned). However, Pluto in Sagittarius points to nothing less than what appears like a revolution or a complete re-evaluation of religious myths and facts.
In religious circles, small things may appear huge and discovering that the palace of Solomon may have been the temple complex that Amenhotep III built at Thebes in Egypt (identical!) will not be a small matter. It is one thing to uncover the truth but try to change the doctrine and you will find out what Pluto is all about!
Transportation by Air, Land and Sea: We will undergo not only major advances in terms of speed and safety but also the pinpointing of any vehicle anywhere in the world. GPS system using numerous satellites will almost become a standard feature. Digital road maps guided by the same GPS system and cellular technology will be incorporated in cars and other vehicles. Jet-packs and other forms of individual transport will be perfected but mostly commercialized when Pluto moves into Capricorn from Dec. 2008 till 2023.
There is an ambitious project I have in mind which has to do with a World Historical Chart but with Astrological reasoning behind events. For example, Pluto repeats its cycle approximately every 245 years. The religious connotation are repeated during these periods.
Here are some of the events which took place when Pluto was in Sagittarius: 527 BC, Roman Emperor in Constantinople, Justinian (a devout catholic), outlawed the Talmud. 532 BC, Justinian negotiated a peace treaty with the Persian Empire. 1748 AD saw the decline of the Ottoman empire and redefinition of Middle East boundaries .

Pluto in Capricorn from Dec. 2008 till Mar. 2023, Neptune in Aquarius till Apr. 2011
This is the second of the five part article for World Events till 2025. In our last newsletter, we discussed Pluto in Sagittarius till Nov. 2008 and major changes in communication, transportation, education and attitude towards religion. In this issue, we will discuss events which will coincide with Pluto in Capricorn from Dec. 2008 till March 2023.
Pluto represents changes at the fundamental level and Capricorn is the sign for manufacturing, big business, corporations, government and attitude towards material possessions. Between Dec. 2008 and March 2023, we will see a complete revolution in the manufacturing sector. This is not in terms of Uranus type of inventions but the ability to manufacture diamonds on the Moon! Pluto being is Sagittarius till Nov. 2008 will have set the groundwork in terms of major advances in space travel. Besides diamonds, we will have the ability to manufacture lenses and other optical gadgets which would benefit from a clean atmosphere without dust which is available on the Moon or the space station.
You can also expect a fundamental change in the way big corporations and even the government is run. New ideologies will be developed before Nov. 2008 while Pluto is still in Sagittarius, but the actual changes will be implemented between Dec. 2008 and March 2023. Instant polls and electronic elections will be held before Nov. 2008 and new policies and rules established for government run elections between Dec. 2008 and March 2023.
Radical Changes in Governments: Government bureaucracy will be cut down from Nov. 2008 onwards and the cost of elections decreased due to Internet polling.
New Manufacturing Techniques: There will be a major revolution in the manufacturing industry with new techniques developed and new products made from different metals. Between Dec. 2008 and Mar. 2023, new elements or completely new ways of making or combining elements will be discovered. The new metals will be much stronger and lighter.
Robots in the Corporate World: Robot workers will be introduced in corporations as well as general public and replace mundane jobs. Electronic robot tellers will be programmed to be fast, efficient and also courteous!
Lessons from Space Exploration: By Nov. 2008, we will have completed all the research needed to sustain long-term space travel, efficient energy sources while in space and new means of utilizing natural sources like hydrogen as fuel for space travel. From Dec. 2008 till March 2023, with Pluto being in Capricorn, space travel will become more commercialized. There will be some form of governing body in the space colony (New World Order?!).
Exploration will begin on the Moon and the planet Mars. As we mentioned, manufacturing of lenses and optics will be established on the space stations and possibly on the Moon. An astronomy telescope station will be established on the Moon on a permanent basis. Emphasis will be on the practical application of knowledge gained previously from space explorations and the Hubble. Commercial flights to space will become more common by Nov. 2008) Pluto in Sag.) and a priest or someone known for his philosophical outlook will fly to space.
Religion Incorporated within Politics: Most wars and crises around the world and friction between countries start on religious grounds, and are motivated by the clergy. This will all finish by Nov. 2008 while Pluto is still in Sagittarius. By the end of this period, there will not only be more harmony between different religious groups, but a consensus on the common elements between different approaches to God. Masses conducted on the Internet will become more common and virtual sermons will encourage respect and appreciation of other faiths and religions.
Politics and Religion Meet: Between Dec. 2008 till March 2023, with Pluto in Capricorn, it will be realized that the moral aspects in all religions are common and very similar. As the politicians lose their power because of instant polls and referendums on the Internet, and are immediately exposed when they do something immoral, the practical values of different religions will be incorporated in the government. Instead of separation of state and government, the best moral values of every religion will be established and included in the constitutions.
From Dec. 2008, with Pluto in Capricorn, emphasis will be placed on actions rather than just philosophy when it comes to religion. However, realization of truth may suffer somewhat as God becomes a business driven concern and people have a business type of relationship with God. Religious myths and facts will be discarded but the moral values incorporated in business ethics.
Transportation
by Air, Land and Sea: Although satellite guided digital road maps and
cellular technology will be incorporated in cars and other vehicles by
Nov. 2008, jet packs and other forms of individual transport systems
will become commercial after Pluto moves into Capricorn from Dec. 2008
till 2023. Virtual Tours of different countries will become much more
common by Nov. 2008.
Cure for Deafness, Blindness and Cancer:
Sagittarius is the sign for mass communication, so with Pluto in
Sagittarius till Nov. 2008, I would’t be surprised if the blind are
able to see and the deaf are able to hear. We will also come a step
closer to understanding the human body and the workings of the brain.
This will probably lead to the human genome project being completed and
finally new cures for cancer.
Neptune in Aquarius: It also promises returns on new innovative technology and companies involved with 3D, holography, IMAX, Apple and Radio/TV broadcasts on the web.
The next Jupiter-Saturn conjunction will occur in Dec.2020 and the next market crash and recession will be around Oct. 2017 (Saturn in Sagittarius).
Neptune in Pisces from Apr. 2011 till Mar. 2025 will be excellent for some of the most beautiful and spiritual pieces of music composed and other creative and inspirational work which requires imagination. Artists similar to Van Gogh’s generation will be born during this period. Spirituality will become big business as Pluto will be in Capricorn while Neptune is still in Pisces. New techniques to stimulate the temporal lobes of the brain will be discovered to enhance spiritual experiences through music.
The greatest benefit of Neptune in Aquarius from 1998 till Feb. 3, 2012 will be realized in multimedia, film, movies and digital photography. 3D images will be projected outside the TV set itself. Animated movies will use digital actors and voices similar to the human voice. Past singers will sing new serenades and produce new movies. Digital profiles of actors stored as plug-ins will be used to view animated movies on the Net.

Here are some past World Predictions (made by Hassan Jaffer between Oct.'86 and 1990 in his monthly newsletter AstroTrends) to occur by Nov.'95: (some predictions to start from Nov. 1995 like those relating to Pluto in Sagittarius)
New
planets will be discovered as Pluto moves into Sagittarius from Nov.9,
1995 onwards. There will be major advances in astronomy which will
provide new insight into the origins of the Universe.
Terrorism as relating to religion will continue for a few years before
religion itself is redefined leading to religious tolerance by Nov.
2008. Intefadeh will lead to at least autonomy on the West Bank by
Nov.'95. Real peace and a Palestinian State will be a reality by Nov.
2008.
Comment: West Bank was given to the Palestinians very close to Hassan's timing and another major territory given in Nov. and Dec. 1995!
End of Communism, End of Berlin Wall and
Apartheid (predicted in 1987): Nov. 1995 will be the turning point for
the world as Pluto moves away from Scorpio (violence, wars, terrorism,
research, social diseases, dictatorships etc.) into Sagittarius
(Universal Justice, mass education, religion, mass communication. mass
transportation etc.).
Comment: The Internet is
probably one of Hassan's best predictions indicated as mass
communication. In fact, this is going to be the basis of his other
forecasts relating to the educational system and religion. They are all
going to be revolutionized by the Internet now. You find discussions on
religion everywhere and all kinds of educational software is available
free on the Net. Many archives and research articles are also

The following predictions are from AstroTrends written Feb. 2002
Planetary Alignment:
You may have read that some planets are going to be aligned in the
month of May. However, this is not a conjunction where two or more
planets are close together as seen from the Earth. It is only Mercury,
Venus, Mars and Saturn which are in the sign of Gemini. When Sun moves
into Gemini on 21st May, Venus will go into Cancer. It is basically
Mars conjunct Saturn which is a dangerous aspect. In a person’s chart,
this aspect makes one angry very easily and is the classic aspect of
heart attacks caused by frustration, running into obstacles and crisis
situations. In terms of world events, it shows military operations,
stock market slides and explosions.
Mars conj Saturn is exact on May 4th 2002. On May 8th, Mars also opposes Pluto which is a dangerous aspect for assassinations, explosions, guns and earthquakes.
Moon will set off these aspects on 29th Apr., May 6, 14, 20 and 27th,
which may coincide with storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, and a volatile
market especially in May. As I was writing this article, there was an
earthquake in New York just when the planets started going into Gemini,
You may remember from a previous article about the Twin Towers that I
had indicated New York as somehow being connected with the sign of
Gemini (this is purely from the fact that the Twin towers represented
this sign). This hypothesis is now confirmed and we fell that every
time there is an adverse aspect in Gemini (even the Moon being there),
it can be dangerous for New York and the US in general. It may also be
because the planet will conjunct Uranus in the US chart (explosions and
sudden shocks).
The following predictions are from AstroTrends written Oct. 2001
One Million Sq. Ft. for Movies:
In our Sep.-Oct.2001 issue, we wrote about Ontario becoming more of a
movie industry because of glamorous Leo in the US chart falling in its
direction. Last week, the mayor of Toronto announced one million sq.
ft. of space for the movie studios in Toronto so they can make some of
the biggest films right here in Canada! Astrologically, this is very
significant as it allows us to decode some of the most difficult
elements of political predictions. It will also help us in guiding you
in terms of which places in the US are best for you to live in.
At least Jupiter in Libra in 2004-2005 promises major peace treaties!
Pakistan’s Musharraf:
The President of Pakistan is a Leo with Mercury in Virgo and his
policies remind me very much of Shimon Peres. He has delays till July
2002 and then some excellent transits for major contracts and bringing
in sweeping reforms.
Sep 11th 2001: I recently came across an
album cover which convinced me of what I suspected right in the
beginning; that although the planes did some damage to the twin towers,
it was impossible for the buildings to have collapsed the way they did.
There was definitely conspiracy involved and the actions of the US,
Arial Sharon and even Russia are suspect.
An album cover called “Coup”
shows the twin towers burning with smoke coming at the top exactly as
it happened, one rapper is holding two electrodes and the other rapper
has a detonator in his hand! What is most remarkable about this picture
is that it was made in June 2002! As soon as the towers fell, the
albums were hastily pulled off from every store shelf! This is
definitely not a coincidence nor was the alleged hijacker’s passport,
which miraculously survived the burning inferno even as everyone in the
place perished (he did not even need the passport for a local flight!).
I am not going to go into details of who, why, how etc. but it is just
to let you know that the aim of big governments is not justice but to
impose their will on everyone else. In the scheme of nature, this will
only go on for another year.
Pluto in Sagittarius promises a
total mockery of religious values and so much abuse of it by power
hungry politicians that it will necessitate a complete re-evaluation of
spiritual values.
Pearl Harbor of 21st Century:
In Moon Magic 2001 (written in Oct. 2000!), we wrote for late summer of
2001 that the “misguided Mideast policy of the US will lead to
desperate acts similar to Pearl Harbor...”. On 11th Sep. 2001 at 11:08
pm, the President of the United States, George W. Bush, dictated for
his daily diary, “the Pearl Harbor of the 21st century took place
today”!
Unfortunately, these type of predictions have a price attached to them for your editor. The FBI and NSA requested the RCMP in Canada to investigate your astrologer. Fortunately, he was so impressed by our predictions (instead of seeing it as “proof” of our involvement!) that we have another client now!
The World Trade Center Disaster: We mentioned in our last two newsletters that there will be increased violence in the Mideast and religious fervor would be high. We also mentioned almost two months ago about aviation disasters till mid Sep.01 under the heading "Accidents in the Sky". Our predictions sometimes become prophetic and we don't realize ourselves the usage of the words becoming so relevant. The WTC bombing was directly related to what is happening to the Palestinians and in Kashmir as well as Chechnya. We have a strong feeling that although Arab hijackers were involved and probably somehow linked to Osama bin Laden, there was the hand of the KGB and possibly a fore-knowledge by Mossad. Both had a lot of gain in terms of world sympathy as well as a justification to bomb the Palestinians even more and keep denying them their rights. Arabs would never have bombed the Pentagon although the WTC with its concentration of Jews in New York was a strong target for the Arabs. The Russians have been kicked out of Afghanistan mainly because of Osama bin Laden. He has also been supporting the rebels in Chechnya and some generals were recently killed there as a direct result of his organization. Russia stands to gain a lot as it has successfully manipulated the US and the British in trying to eliminate OBL. Another interest of the US, and possibly more important for them in the long run, is the oil pipeline which they want to run from Northern Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. Helping the Northern Alliance and establishing a puppet government will help them gain this objective. In the meantime, the FBI and CIA will get all the help they need to deceive the public and make this a police state. They have tried their best in the past to do so but now they have a legitimate reason.
All they have to do is change their Mideast policy (we had actually predicted this in our Moon Magic 2001 (we are completely sold out of this but the Moon Magic 2002 issue will be ready by mid Oct.). We even mentioned Pearl Harbor as the similarities were strong.
We mentioned all this in our analysis of the US horoscope. US has a Mars Neptune square from the 9th to the 12th house (nightmare and danger through ocean, poison, chemicals and water supply). Mars was touching off this configuration exactly between Feb. and Aug. 2001. The US Mideast policy was very unfair towards the Palestinians during this period and Mars being in Sagittarius (religion), it led to major repercussions culminating in the WTC bombing. You cannot detach this from the Mideast issue. We are quite positive that Osama bin Laden was not involved in this bombing at all. However, since he had already threatened WTC, it was easy to frame him, weaken the rebels who are fighting so valiantly in Chechnya, give Islam a bad name in order to gain world sympathy and to keep justifying their uncredible acts, and get the pipeline issue resolved through Northern Afghanistan.
Two things are against the United States and may lead to further disaster: 1- Mercury retrograde when the bombing raids and the plan to action was put into place. Nothing ever works out during the confused period. People come to wrong conclusions. 2- The sensitive Mars Neptune square in the US horoscope is getting touched off by Saturn till summer 2002. This is not a good omen for the US at all. Their foreign policy definitely needs to be re-evaluated in terms of the Palestinians. This is a nightmare period for the US as well. We will see further acts of terrorism (which is good for the FBI, the CIA and Ashcroft, as all of them want to regain public trust and this is easy by appealing to their patriotism. Mars-Neptune also points to chemicals being used to scare the masses (possibly by Americans groups themselves) and blaming it on the Arabs.
Slowdown of the Manufacturing sector: As Mars moves into the sign of Capricorn from 8th Sep. till 27th Oct.'01, we will see a lot of negative news coming out of the manufacturing sector. However, around 3rd Oct., Mars opposes Jupiter which makes people feel like gamblers. Expect more bombing raids by the Americans and the British to satisfy their political aims. A few days before and a few days after (called an "orb" in astrology as events never happen on the exact transit days), people will be a bit more optimistic and there may be some big mergers. However, it is the beginning of the market slowdown. Even in the gambling mood, I have seen the market go really up or really down. Mars-Jupiter is a very unpredictable aspect and gives false hopes to people. Whatever the trends is gets really exaggerated (probably for the negative in Sep. 2001 due to some bold moves which may prove to be a real windfall for some and a real disaster for others. On 18th Feb 2001, Mars opposed Jupiter and on the 16th (just two days before), NASDAQ lost 128 points! Nov.2001 is when the market starts to take a dive and continues in Dec. 2001. mid Oct. onwards is critical (but no recession!). Even though the economic pundits may call the slowdown a recession, but there are two cycles which I look into. A 20 year Jupiter Saturn cycle which accounts for the slowdown and makes everyone work hard. The other cycle is Saturn in Sagittarius which occurs every 29 to 30 years. This points to the market being unrealistic. Although we do have the first aspect in effect, the market is not unrealistic at all. It is just a ploy of the government to get more taxpayers money. Billions of dollars spent to increase the military budget rather than doing anything about the foreign policy is asking for disaster in the long run. In the name of peace, thousands of bombs will be dropped and nations may come dangerously close to wars.
Aviation Firsts: We mentioned before that Mars in Sagittarius will coincide with major discoveries as well as inventions in the field of astronomy (as Pluto is also in the sign of Sagittarius), and we have had some very interesting events happen in the last two months.
On 13th Aug., NASA's Helios, a 247 foot unmanned giant solar powered flying wing, broke the world altitude record of jet-powered aircraft by reaching an altitude of 85,100 feet.
A new asteroid 2001 KX76 beyond Pluto has unseated
the asteroid Ceres as the largest minor planet in the solar system,
breaking a record that stood for two centuries.
The frozen rock
has a diameter of at least 1,200 kilometers (745 miles). Ceres, which
resides in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, has a
diameter of about 950 kilometers (590 miles). The new object is half
the size of Pluto and slightly larger than Pluto's moon Charon. It
orbits the sun in a ring of comets beyond the planets known as the
Kuiper Belt.
In astrology, we sometimes use Ceres because it is between Mars and Jupiter but the new asteroid will not have any affect as it is beyond Pluto. It is just interesting that it is discovered when Mars is in Sagittarius along with Pluto, to help us understand the universe better.
Mars in 5th and Strife Through Children for those with TAU MC: We wrote this last time about Bush having problems with his daughter etc. Chandra Levy had Leo rising and Mars was transiting her 5th house. This points to strife with her boyfriend (Condit in this case) and also that she may have been pregnant. In fact, I am quite she was as she was getting a Mars Neptune aspect just like Princess Diana who I am sure was also pregnant).
End of Mideast Violence: We have indicated in our last few newsletters about increased violence in the Mideast as Mars is transiting Sagittarius and conjunct Pluto (violence) and opposed to Saturn till mid Sep. 2001. We have definitely seen the increased missile activity and bombings but after 8th Sep.'01, this may decrease a lot as Mars moves into the sign of Capricorn. This may point to rebuilding the schools and other buildings destroyed in the West bank and other parts of the world. Unfortunately, I feel it is the Russian Jews and the settlers who are radical and creating a lot of tension. Arial Sharon likes gangster tactics and we had correctly predicted that he will become the Prime Minister based on Mars in the cruel sign of Scorpio at the time (leading to much suffering). Shimon Peres has a much better attitude towards peace, the US too biased and the world too uncaring to do anything about the Mideast violence.
Slowdown of the Economy: We wrote in our past newsletters that there will be no recession even though there will be a slowdown of the economy till Mar. 2002 (Jupiter Saturn conjunction). I based this on a discovery of mine that there are two different cycles involved in market crashes. There is a 29 to 30 year cycle (Saturn in Sagittarius) which brings the economy down because the market has become totally unrealistic. The other cycle is the one mentioned above which is a 20 year cycle. When both of these coincide, there is a market crash like in 1929 and 1987. The Jupiter Saturn does not have to be a conjunction (which also seems to coincide with a President not remaining in office when elected during this transit) but any adverse aspect between these two planets. This year only shows the slowdown of the economy as Saturn is not in Sag. and the market is not unrealistic. 2017 is the next recession. However, the last quarter is going to be the worst this year and most of the gains in the market will finish after mid Oct. '01. I would stay away from the market from mid Oct. till Dec. '01 (unless you are buying cheap long-term stocks).
As indicated in our last newsletter, the age group of Slobidon Milosovic has a lot of mental stress till end of Aug. 2001. Pluto is transiting his 4th house for a number of years (living in a prison). Mars is also transiting his 4th house till end of Sep.2001 which indicates strife and guns around his residence.
Mars in 5th and Strife Through Children for those with TAU MC: Those of you who have TAU M.C. Mars transiting their 5th house and have to be extra careful till mid Sep. 2001 of danger in the life of children. Although this transit also indicates that your children will become more aggressive and may take up sports, just be careful of danger sports. If you are born in the 30's or early 40's, then you also need to be careful that they don't get involved with drugs, alcohol or other scandals till end of Sep. 2001. If you are born between 1979 and 1985, then you have to be careful of out of wedlock pregnancy as well!
President Bush has had Mars transiting his 5th house from end of Feb. till 19th Sep. 2001. His daughter was in trouble with the law because of her drinking. A similar transit (Mars in 5th) plus Mars squaring Neptune in HRH Farah Pahlavi's chart, brought so much sadness in her life as daughter (Princess Leila) passed away at such a young age.
Accidents in the Sky and Mideast Violence: Mars in Sagittarius conjunct Pluto (violence) and opposed to Saturn till mid Sep. 2001 points to increased violence in the Mideast. The same transit also accounts for the Russian plane crash in Siberia. Unfortunately, it points to more aviation disasters and the market being very volatile as well till end of Sep. 2001 at least. However, expect new aerospace inventions as well.
Danger of Accidents for those with GEM, CAN, SAG and CAP MC: Those of you who use columns #3 or 4 (Gem or Can MC) have Mars transiting their 3rd house and have to be careful of danger near your home. This applies to short trips, car problems (thank your lucky stars if the car is in the garage!), and strife in the neighborhood. The place you are living in while traveling becomes your home so don't take unnecessary chances while walking or in the dark.
If you use columns #9 or 10 (Sag or Cap MC) have Mars transiting their 9th house and have to be careful of mishaps on long distance travel (where law is involved or borders being crossed) in foreign countries.
Mars transiting either the 3rd house or the 9th house (all the above mentioned cases) always indicates danger through speeding, car accidents and other incidents. As Mars is also opposing Saturn in the sky throughout July, August and the first two weeks of September, it becomes even more critical that you take extra precautions. Not everyone will get into accidents, but if you do under this transit, it can prove to be quite dangerous. I have done too many charts of vehicular accidents to just give hints anymore. It is not destined and you can certainly prevent a tragedy from happening.
The Stock Market: The market, especially NASDAQ, is going to be very volatile till 8th Sep.2001. Dow will have setbacks but will be more stable than NASDAQ. There is a very productive technological period starting this June which will help the market but we doubt if NASDAQ reaches the highs of last year for some time. Car manufacturers will make major headways with new designs, faster, better and more fuel efficient cars, but by the time it translates into stock market gains, it will be at least into late summer. Food related companies and stocks will thrive this summer as Jupiter moves into Cancer from mid July 2001. People will be more nurturing as well!
The market will have highs from mid April 2001 till end of Sep. 2001. It will take a dive from the first week of Oct. till end of Dec.2001. The most volatile period is between end of Feb. and end of Aug.2001 but this is also the best time for shrewd investors when the market's volatility can be taken advantage of.
Nov.2001 will be particularly volatile and Microsoft stocks will be adversely affected as Mars in Aquarius squares Saturn for Bill Gates. Although the US economy will slow down, we do not see a recession. The tax cuts will only marginally help the market.
Peace in the Middle East: With Mars in the cruel, violent and vindictive sign of Scorpio, we expect Ariel Sharon to be the next prime minister. The peace process during the whole month of February 2001 will be without any direction or results (Mercury retrograde in Pisces). Till mid Sep.2001, politics will be driven by religious sentiments and the issue of Palestinian refugees will be continuously debated as will the status of Jerusalem (both Mars in Sagittarius themes). Violence around religious places and to preachers will increase between April and end of Aug.2001.
Starting from the slowest moving transit of Pluto, here are the rest of the planets reflecting the concerns of the masses at the beginning of the new century. We will deal with Pluto in this issue and continue with Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter later on.
Pluto (Radical Changes, Global Events, Mass Movements, Oil and Anything Which Comes From Under The Earth):
Pluto will be in Sagittarius until Nov. 26, 2008, then move into Capricorn for a short period on January 25, 2008, and back into Sagittarius on June 13, 2008.

Saturn in Gemini from 10 Aug. 2000 will standardize file transfer protocols and enable all computers and other gadgets to communicate with each other.
The signs most affected adversely by the Information Age will be Earth signs (Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo) and the Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces). Unless they have Air and Fire planets in their charts, they will have to get used to a faster pace of life and less emotional contact.
Earth signs will miss the stability of tangible
experiences and the slower pace of life. Water signs will miss their
need for emotional closeness and game playing! However, these signs
will also be in demand if they chose a profession where they conduct

Neptune (Inspirational Ideals of the Masses, Fuel, Ships, Ocean, Movies):
Neptune has been in Aquarius since 1998 and will stay there until February 3, 2012.
As we had mentioned almost ten years ago, Neptune in Aquarius has
coincided with nature and inspiration combined with hi-tech in the form
of the iMac, rain forest cafes, and spiritual music in digital formats
everywhere. It will even help medicine find new ways of diagnosis using
magnetic scans and holography. TV will become 3D and images will be
projected outside the TV set itself! Animated movies will have lifelike
images of digital actors and voices almost indistinguishable from the
original human voice! Past singers will be reborn digitally to produce
new movies and sing new serenades. Digital profiles of actors will be
stored as plug-ins in Browsers to recall while viewing animated movies
on the Internet. DNA databases will be formed and shared globally.
Hydrogen fuel will used more to eliminate carbon pollution. The greatest benefit of this transit will be realized in multimedia, film, movies, digital photography, and a combination of analog and digital signals will be used to produce the ultimate visual experiences. New boats and ship designs will take advantage of solar power and run on clean fuels.
Mood alteration through music will become more popular, space art, holographic art will emerge on the desktop. Video production will become even more popular for home use. Virtual supermarket shopping will become a reality. New ways of using sound, color and light will be discovered and help revolutionize the film industry.
Virtual Reality will be used more often to experience travel resorts. Poor people will be able to visit the poshest and the most exclusive resorts at least vicariously through VR sets. They may even be able to get some of the benefits through virtual experiences! Imagine visiting an beautiful resort in some remote Greek island and being treated to a guided tour by a digital actor, then to a virtual therapist who alters your mood through light, color, music and stimulating the right brain waves (you would need a VR helmet of course!), then stimulates any inspirational mood you desire.
Uranus (New technology, digital signals, break from past and innovations): Uranus will be in Aquarius until Dec. 30, 2003 except for a short period in Pisces from March 10, 2003 to Sep. 14, 2003. After Dec. 30, 2003 Uranus will be in the sign of Pisces for approximately seven years. As we had predicted before, Uranus has coincided with the Internet, digital photography and some of the most revolutionary advances in computer technology and interactive videos.
This trend will continue with new advances in the delivery of digital music and video on the Internet. Wireless Internet will allow thousands of radio stations and music channels to be broadcast to portable Internet walkmans. Streaming video is still in its infancy but soon become much easier and popular even for desktops. Major advances in 3D streaming technology will make it much more practical.
Uranus will bring about fundamental changes to our thinking. Instead of computers becoming just faster, parallel processing will be the next step. Apple's G4 is the fastest PC in the world right now and is considered a supercomputer but has only one CPU. From June 30, 2000 (when Jupiter moves into Gemini), parallel G4s will herald the age of desktop holography. Desktop radio, Digital editing and Internet TV broadcasting will give opportunities to anyone aspiring to communicate to the masses.
Wireless account transactions and transfers from your credit card will provide more security while shopping. Remote scanning at the Supermarkets will eliminate lineups Digital tellers will be used at many banks and will be available 24 hours a day.
New research in optical technology will revolutionize anything related to light including cameras, development of films and new forms of lighting methods. Solar lighting in streets will become more popular. Increased technological breakthroughs, a lack of personal touch and an accelerated pace of life will play havoc on the nervous system and spas, electronic mood relaxation techniques will sprout everywhere and become a corporate write-off!
On a more mundane level, Uranus and Neptune in Aquarius will make people more aware of humanitarian, social and racial issues. People will suddenly change their relationships, career direction, Long distance romance will flourish on the Internet with higher bandwidth allowing exchange of audio and video in real time.
Pay equity will be eliminated and new concepts and political ideologies based on uniqueness of individuals (no two people are alike and there is no such thing as equality in nature!) will be realized. Voting through the Internet will allow instant referendums.
Although more and more people will be able to communicate with each other from all over the world and be connected to events and places immediately, yet life in the millennium will become more impersonal and self satisfying. There will be less dependency on people as computers, the Internet and Virtual Worlds will eliminate the need to spend time, money, and emotional Relationships will be based on how much emotional investment is required! The need for individual freedom and self-expression will become more acute and there will be a sense of urgency to alter one's surroundings in order to bring more fulfillment in one's life. Ironically, Internet free relaxation workshops will also become very popular!

Children are more prone to infections now and adults have wrong hunches and act upon them! Be careful of scandals and fraud! You are more susceptible to allergies now and your immune system is depleted. Give yourself more rest and don't jump the gun. Be careful of lakes and the ocean (danger from drowning). Be careful of unwanted or out of wedlock pregnancies. This is an obsessive period and whatever you do will become a habit, so choose your obsessions carefully! During the above mentioned dates, your generation
has to be very careful that you do not set yourself up for a nightmare

This is the classic aspect of major storms, nightmares, drowning, ship sinkings, drug raids and busts, subversive activities, epidemics, mass panic (like in Burundi) and mishaps in the ocean. We mentioned in 1987 that Pluto in Sagittarius from Nov.'95 till 2008 will be reflective of free trade around the world after the North American Free Trade agreement. Now the APEC summit (whose 18 members produce 60% of world trade) have decided to have global free trade by 2010! President Clinton is trying for 0% tariff on hi-tech by 2000 as well!
Pluto (radical changes) in Sagittarius also led us to other forecasts involving global communication and foreigner lands. Sagittarius = immigration so we predicted major changes in the immigration laws leading to no custom tariffs and no passports and also a drive for global economy and global currency. Mass communication will radically change from mid Jan.'97 as more and more people find it so much easier to communicate with each other. Government laws are currently applicable to one country only but this will start changing very soon as universal principles and justice becomes more common. Mass discussions on the Internet will bring people together from many parts of the world discussing common human problems in their own languages as new technology allows simultaneous translation. The governments will feel extremely threatened and try their best to enforce regulations and encrypting codes but will be frustrated in their fight against global forces. Ironically, democratic governments will become very dictatorial in their pursuit to stop true democracy as their hype about freedom of speech is exposed! People at a global level are going to be talking to each other and politicians, educators, lawyers, judges, and anyone in the position to misuse power will be exposed immediately!
Three years ago, we predicted aviation mergers (Uranus in Aquarius) and now Boeing and McDonnell Douglas have merged. From mid. Jan.'97, Jupiter joins Uranus in Aquarius signaling many more mergers between computer giants, software manufacturers, telecommunication industry, media and the advertising companies.
From Jan.'97, Jupiter and Uranus in Aquarius will revolutionize all forms of transportation and mass communication including introduction of electric cars, new aviation entertainment using digital technology on planes, digital TV used to access the Internet, videophones, films available on CD ROMs, hand held walkman for viewing films on DVD's, new advances in digital cameras and fiber optics and many companies investing heavily in it, real estate values increasing in areas with high concentration of hi-tech manufacturing facilities, unique uses of infra red technology for computers, new optical devices used for computer data storage, more wireless communication used for audio and video equipment (elimination of wires for speakers, printers etc.), increased use of hand held notepads with thin screens, new technologies developed bridging the gap between analog and digital communication, new operating systems on ROM so you never have to worry about a computer crashing due to software problems, usage of lightweight, thin, flat screen TV and monitors instead of the heavy TVs we use, ultra light audio mixers and portable audio studios. Many of these are already in the making and from 1997, they will start being used on a commercial basis. Major advances in marketing and advertising with precision targets established through Internet and home TVs hooked up to central databases.
There will be increased efforts by government agencies and powerful authorities to get more control of people by digitizing fingerprints on credit cards, driver's license, health cards etc. under the guise of elimination of fraud. Encryption technology will be pursued relentlessly by the government and digital espionage and devices will be at their best but not obvious to the general public. Be careful of giving personal info. on the Internet (or to legal authorities) as there is a security risk once your identity is known.
Human values will become digital as identity is stored on computers and databases. The negative aspect of the advancing technology is that there is a neglect of emotional values. I have coined the expression "digital emotions" and "analog emotions" similar to analog films and the sterile high-tech digital videos to draw a parallel between warm human emotions of the real world and cyberspace. Interestingly, both analog and digital signals exist in Nature and within our body. The brain translates analog signals to digital. Voice and hearing are analog but the thinking process is digital like the nervous system and its neural activity!
Last year, we mentioned that Pluto in Sagittarius from Nov.'95 will bring about radical changes in gambling and new laws will be formulated to regulate it. With Uranus in Aquarius (digital technology), airlines are introducing gambling in planes now with a maximum limit of $350 US! Sagittarius is not only the sign for speculation and gambling but also transportation and Aquarius rules aviation!

We have forecasted religious tensions throughout the
world leading to eventual peace. As we had mentioned many times before,
wars around the world finished by Nov. '95 but the religious wars are
starting.
The radical elements around the world will gain
at first and then become more moderate 1997. In India, the BJP almost
came in to power fueling more hatred but will probably not be able to
form a government and resign. On the positive side, there is a growing
appreciation for each different religions.
Aug. 1997 is an extremely violent period in the Middle East. With Mars in Scorpio, the threat for political and religious assassinations is high. Governments will become more vindictive in their crackdowns as well..
